Volunteer as a mentor to a Baltimore City high school student with iMentor. iMentor Baltimore supports first generation Baltimore City high school students across 3 schools in their pathway towards economic mobility for themselves and their families. Volunteer mentors are matched with one mentee, building a personal and professional relationship with a vast community of more than 1,200 volunteers.
Volunteer will be matched to a student for 2 years (junior and senior year of high school). Mentors must check in via e-mail with their mentees weekly and meet up in person once a month at their schools on weekday afternoons.
Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and complete an orientation and screening. Volunteers must be able to commit to spending 2 years as a mentor and must be willing to drive to the student’s high school once/month.
Baltimore City/Downtown (schools are located in Hampden, Mt. Vernon, and Station North).
