Literacy Tutor at Reading Partners

Tutor students to build literacy and reading comprehension skills. Reading Partners is a national nonprofit that pairs community volunteers and elementary school students who are reading below grade level in Baltimore City.

Commitment

Minimum of once a week with the same student for the duration of the academic school year, during the school day.

Restrictions

Volunteers must be 18 years old. In-person fingerprinting through Baltimore City Public Schools required (paid for by Reading Partners). Training/lesson plans provided. All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
