Literacy Tutor at Jewish Community Services (JCS)

Tutor an adult with an intellectual disability, who is currently reading at a kindergarten-1st grade level. Jewish Community Services (JCS) provides counseling, employment assistance, older adult services and more in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Commitment

One hour per week, or other commitment determined by client and tutor.

Restrictions

Volunteers must be at least 21 years old. Criminal background check required. Volunteers should be resourceful and have patience, an ability to work well with others, a positive attitude, and compassion.
