Assist clients at the Center for Women & Children’s fitness center at Helping Up Mission. Tasks include supporting a safe, and friendly experience, demonstrating proper workout techniques, and ensuring the fitness center is clean. Helping Up Mission is a 24/7 shelter in Baltimore City for men, women, and children experiencing addiction, homelessness, or poverty.
Monday mornings (8-8:45am) and/or Friday afternoons (2-4pm)
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and certified in CPR. Volunteers must complete a background check ($19). Volunteers must identify as female. Certification as a personal trainer/fitness instructor is preferred but not required. Volunteers should be familiar with fitness equipment and moves. Maximum of 1 volunteer needed.
