Community-Wide School Supply Drive

Help us equip students for success! 🎒✏️

Until July 31:
Items should be new or gently used (see below for specific lists) and can be dropped off during distribution to our office (5750 Park Heights Avenue Baltimore, MD 21215) at the following days/times:

  • Wednesday, July 3, 10, 17,  24 and 31: 8:30-9:30 am, 12:30-1:30 pm, 4:30-5:30 pm. When you arrive at our office, pull up to the main entrance (you will see a purple sign) and call 410-843-7476. A staff member will come out to grab the supplies from you!

August 1-9:
New and gently used items can be dropped off in the main lobby of CHAI, located at 5809 Park Heights Ave, Baltimore at the following days/times:

  • Mon-Thur: 8:30 am-5:00 pm
  • Fri: 8:30 am-3:00 pm

The items will be going to both county and city schools, including those under CHAI.

  • 1 subject spiral notebook
  • 2-inch loose leaf binder
  • Backpacks: must fit in a locker- if used, please wipe clean before donating
  • Copy paper
  • Dividers: can be loose or in a pack
  • Folders
  • Graph paper
  • Looseleaf lined paper/paper protectors
  • Marbled composition books
  • Pencil box or pouch with rings
  • Rulers
  • Sticky notes
  • Zip top lunch boxes/bags- if used, please wipe clean before donating

New/Unopened Items Accepted:  *all of these items should be in their original packaging and unused*

  • #2 Pencils
  • 3 x 5inch index cards
  • Baby Wipes
  • Blue and Black pens
  • Boxed colored pencils, markers, crayons
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Combination locks
  • Dry erase markers
  • Erasers: can be loose or in a pack
  • Glue sticks or liquid (Elmer’s) glue: can be loose or in a pack
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Hand Soap
  • Highlighters
  • Paper Towels
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Resealable bags (sandwich, quart, gallon)
  • Scissors: for safety reasons, please do not remove from package
  • Sharpies
  • Tissue Boxes
  • USBs

Items we cannot accept:

  • Backpacks with wheels
  • Mechanical pencils
  • Personalized supplies
  • Books

Please do not donate supplies that are broken/damaged. Please only include items in this list so we can ensure that all children receive the same supplies!
