Assist and oversee daily operations in the new library at the Center for Women & Children at Helping Up Mission. Tasks include checking out and returning books, shelving books, and more. Helping Up Mission is a 24/7 shelter in Baltimore City for men, women, and children experiencing addiction, homelessness, or poverty.
Shifts take place Monday-Friday from 2:30-4:30pm (one-time and ongoing opportunities available)
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, identify as female, and complete a background check ($19). Maximum of 1 volunteer for each shift. Volunteer orientation and library training required.
