Service to Go Projects FAQ

This covers the cost of the materials we provide, which enables us to continue providing more projects to benefit our partners.

We support a variety of non-profit partners, including shelters, resource centers, schools and after school programs, low-income and transitional housing facilities, and more. We partner with more than 80 organizations.

Please check the registration page and confirmation email for your selected project to view the most up to date pick up and drop off times. Generally, we do pick ups and drop offs every Wednesday and one Sunday a month. Changes to the schedule are made for holidays.

Most kits can be completed by a preschooler with adult help, or by an older child or adult on their own. Every project is different—please use your judgement when determining which projects are a good fit for your household or group.

Yes!  Please indicate on your registration that you need documentation, and a paper memo will be ready for you when you return your kits.

Please contact Alli Berger at aberger@thejewishnetwork.org. If we have supplies in stock for you, we are happy to provide them. If we don’t, we will provide a materials list and some links so you can order on your own.

Please contact Jodi Teitelman at jteitelman@thejewishnetwork.org. If we have enough supplies, we are happy to provide it, and we appreciate your heads up. If we don’t have enough, we will send you a materials list and links to order on your own.

These projects are designed to be completed easily by volunteers in their own space, without a facilitator. Instructions are included, as well as some helpful learning resources to discuss why these projects are important. Exceptions can be made on very special occasions and may require an additional fee.
