All summer, our team has had fun learning our families’ favorite activities and traditions on beach trips. As we enjoy the last few weeks of summer, we want to share these with all of you. Maybe they’re worth trying on an upcoming vacation, or maybe your family does some of these too!
On the Beach
- Stand out in matching bathing suits like Rachel P’s family.
- Play card games like Dazia’s family or play mahjong like Brenda’s family.
- Keep it low key and collect seashells like Martha or read under the umbrella like Kate—she’s our go-to for book recommendations.
- Make your friends jealous and share a photo of your toes in the sand like Gabby.
Food & Drink
- Eat watermelon with feta—an Israeli tradition—like Maian.
- Try a different Kohr Brothers ice cream combo every night like Amy’s family.
- Make different cocktails and mocktails like Alli’s family.
Take a Break from the Sun & Sand
- Play games at the arcade like Abigail’s family. They especially love skee ball!
- Capture some memories at the photo booths like Erica’s family.
- Shop at the outlets like Abbi’s family.
- Bring a tie dye kit like Addie’s family, and don’t limit yourself to shirts! Think socks, napkins, and tablecloths that you can use on your trip.
